This is a partnership project with the Jackson County Sheriffs Employees Association. Both entities provided an initial 300.00 dollars, for a total of $600.00 in funding.
This project provides community support materials in the form of spray paint, graffiti removal spray, and other cleaning materials for urgent removal of graffiti in the Upper Rogue area.
Our target would not be general graffiti removal in the area, which generally the responsibility of the local and county government agencies. It would also not generally be for private property as well. This targeted area would be community-based areas where children frequent that have been hit with particular atrocious graffiti and the community would benefit from quick removal or coverup. Additionally, there could be opportunities for work projects involving Sheriff’s Office staff, Community Members, and Rotary Club members in the future.
